General info installation

Drainbase is easy to install both in gardens and on roof terraces. To discover the different steps, you can watch our video or read the various steps below.

1

Place a geotextile on the existing surface. Provide a well compacted levelling layer of at least 5 cm gravel 0-2, 0-4 or 2-4 on the geotextile.

2

Tile placement

Start against the border and work row by row. Cut the tiles to size where necessary.

3

Click system

The unique connection system of the Drainbase tiles ensures that the tiles can shrink and expand within their own connection dimensions. It is extremely important that the tiles are clicked together correctly; this means halfway through the connection system. Clicking should go smoothly by applying light pressure.

4

Drainbase underlayer

To fulfill an aesthetically pleasing result, it is important to have a smooth Drainbase layer.
